Job Description :
– To receive the patient with smile and greeting.
– To assess the patient for the mode of treatment according to the nature of ailment and record the same in the form maintained.
– To plan the course of treatment and mode of treatment and the equipment to be used to complete the treatment.
– To make the patient comfortable and place them in right position for treatment.
– To explain the treatment procedure in detail to the patient and the necessity for such a treatment.
– To prepare the equipment for the prescribed treatment.
– To determine the correct dosage of treatment and begin the treatment.
– To ensure that the equipment is in order and ready for the next patient on completion of treatment.
– To give proper advice regarding home program.
– To assess the patient based on the referral received.
– To plan the treatment and counselling the patient regarding the treatment process.
– To decide the frequency depending on the condition of the patient and inform the patient/relatives/wards.
– To begin the prescribed treatment.
– To document the treatment given in the form and to be followed continuity of treatment is assured to the patient.
– To ensure proper information is given to the reception desk regarding billing depending upon the number of sittings and type of treatment.
– To give advises and home exercises for patients at the end of the treatment.
– To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
– To be aware of departments performance and objective.
– To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
– To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.
– To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superiors.
