Job Description :
– Contribute as a member of the worldwide data warehouse operations team
– Manage and support successful data loads into the warehouse
– In addition to the data warehouse, manage a separate operational data store receiving near real time data feeds from Oracle s internal eBusiness Suite deployment using Oracle Global Gate software
– Coordinate new ETL code deployments and data fixes with the development team
– Interface with Oracle Product Development to resolve database and OBIEE issues
– Monitor and improve system performance and availability
– Oracle DBA or PL/SQL development experience with large data warehouses
– Oracle database, SQL, or PL/SQL performance tuning expertise in large enterprise deployments
– Experience using OBIEE, DAC, Informatica Workflow Monitor, Oracle Concurrent Manager, Oracle Enterprise Manager
– Time management, prioritization, sound judgement and quick decision making skills
– Strong technical problem solving abilities
– Ability to navigate and work productivity in a large corporate IT environment
– Collaboration with colleagues located around the globe
– Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Golden Gate experience a plus
– Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite and Oracle CRM (formally Siebel CRM) a plus
– Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
– Ability to work collaboratively and across distant timezones
– Availability to serve occasional weekend days on rotation
