Job Description :
– WELFARE
– To coordinate all welfare activities and ensure timely action.
– To assist in implementation of the Annual Welfare Plan.
– To be responsible for issue of uniforms one month in advance of their due dates and monitor employee grooming.
– Attend the employee s wedding at Chennai.
– To organize employee communication forum every month and ensure that employees are honoured according to their service year and honesty awards are presented at the forum.
– To ensure food committee meeting is scheduled once in three months.
– HOSTEL/GUEST HOUSE
– To ensure that the agreements/lease documents of hostel/guest house are renewed periodically on time.
– To upkeep and make periodical visit to hostels/guest houses.
– To ensure hostel committee meetings are conducted once in two months.
– EMPLOYEE HEALTH MANAGEMENT
– To follow-up the renewal of Group Personal Accident and Med claim insurance.
– To be responsible for the vaccination of employees as per policy.
– STATUTORY & DISCIPLINE
– To ensure necessary payments such as PF, ESI are remitted within the due dates.
– To ensure the licenses are valid at all times and renewals are made on time.
– To ensure all statutory payments to employees are made on time.
– To ensure statutory records are updated regularly and the returns are filed as per the due dates of respective laws.
– To coordinate with internal / external auditors and Government Inspection Authorities.
– To send MIS reports to management
– Monthly report of employees issued late warning letters
– To conduct preliminary enquiry on all disciplinary cases.
– To issue warning letters for latecomers and initiate suitable disciplinary action on employees committing misconduct.
– To ensure committee meeting are scheduled on time.
– To be responsible for submission of the following reports as per time schedule :
– Weekly report on the pending work status of areas under supervision
– Monthly report on Hostel / Guest House expenditure statement.
– Monthly report on statutory compliance.
– Employee Engagement
– To Identify the specific employee engagement interventions required through
– The OCS / Gallup engagement survey action plan, Create and adhere to the activity calendar.
– To ensure effectiveness of employee communication forum and implementing the possible suggestions. Ensure employees are honoured and rewarded on time.
– To Execute and assist the implementation of the Annual Welfare Plan & Medical benefits
– To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
– To counsel employees, contribute for better on-boarding experience and conduct regular committee meetings of CASH and EGRS
– To be aware of departments performance and objective.
– To carryout data collection/support in data Analysis.
– To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.
– To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
– To assist the HR Head in various human resources activities at Chennai Main Hospital
– To be responsible for implementation of Performance Management System as per Organizational Policy.
– To ensure that the following activities are carried on time for all categories (doctors, executives, staff members)
– Regularization of Employees
– Confirmation of Employees
– Annual Increment for Employees
– Extension Orders
– To ensure all employees are issued relevant letters
– To issue transfer letter to employees moved between departments/units/divisions
– To study and analysis the performance of employees and recommend to the superior for finalization of promotions/additional increments.
– To assist in preparation of HR budget.
– To assist in wage settlement process.
– To be responsible for maintenance of employees personal record.
– To maintain the Sr. Management/Human Resources employee s personnel records.
– To send financial advices to payroll / finance (salary revision, allowance entitlement, promotion details, etc.).
– To conduct annual wage surveys for different categories of employees (compensation benefits offered by other hospital and hospital in Apollo Group)
– To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
– To be aware of departments performance and objective.
